Course speaker of the 48th DLG (Diplomlehrgang) graduated Cultural- & Social Anthropology at the University of Vienna.
His special interests are imperialism, colonialism and the construction and effects of exotism, especially the phenomenon of human zoos.
Amke Lehr
16-MAIS 1 course speaker. Studied International Relations at the University Groningen and Sydney University.
Her special interests are international security, conflict resolution, and multilateral diplomacy.
Elisabeth Neckel
course speaker of the 15th MAIS 2 program at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. She obtained her Bachelor degree in European Studies at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, where she focused on the external representation of the European Union.
During her studies at the Diplomatic Academy she has developed a strong research interest for corruption studies and democratic consolidation with a particular focus on Africa.
Her Master thesis will deal with the influence of political corruption on democratic consolidation at the example of South Africa.
Gerald Stöckl
Course Speaker of the 4th ETIA “Sir Nicholas Stern”, second year. He has done his first Master in Environmental System Sciences and Business Administration at the University of Graz.
Currently he is working on a Master’s Thesis in the field of assessing selected renewable energy technologies and their potential for rural electrification.
Patrick Toussaint
Course Speaker of the 5th ETIA Programme, of Haitian/German origin. Graduate of a Bachelor of Laws and International Relations at Sussex University and a Master of Laws in Environmental Law and Policy at University College London.
Interests: Environmental Displacement, Climate Change Policy and Diplomatic Reform.
Inga Mareike Nienkerke
Course Speaker 5th ETIA . Studied Biology in Münster and Liberal Arts & Sciences at University College Maastricht, Santiago de Chile, aboard The Scholarship, Berkeley. The main focus laid on Conflict Studies, Psychology, Intercultural Communication and Sustainable Development. She also likes adventures, the outdoors and playing the piano.
