Distance education teacher, 1999 onwards, and Professor emeritus, DiploFoundation, Malta and Geneva (subjects covered: Bilateral Diplomacy; 21st Century Diplomacy; Public Diplomacy; Consular Diplomacy). Honorary Fellow, Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi; developed distance courses for Canadian Foreign Affairs Department, British Foreign Office; lectured at diplomatic training institutions in Argentina, Bahrain, China, Iran, Kenya, the Maldives, Malaysia, Namibia, the Netherlands, Oman, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Suriname, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, and at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and London School of Economics. Has a repertoire of about 50 lecture themes, and about a dozen training exercises, developed over the past 16 years.
