"I am really glad that I received the scholarship. It provides me a unique specialization including the natural-scientific aspect of environmental studies. Following my studies at the University of St. Gallen, ETIA is for me the next step towards a successful career" stated Stephanie Zahrer, BSc. She is the winner of the scholarship awarded by the daily newspaper "Die Presse" for the MSc postgraduate program ETIA – Environmental Technology and International Affairs“ for the ninth time.
On the occasion of presenting the certificate to the winner on February 26, 2015, Mag. Christian Ultsch, DIE PRESSE, highlightened the unique combination of TU and DA contents in the MSc ETIA programme as well as Ms. Zahrer´s international experience and academic performance so far.
Stephanie Zahrer is about to finish her Master´s Thesis at the University of St. Gallen, where she studied Economics.
This MSc Program was installed in 2007 as a unique cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and TU Vienna. Graduates of technical studies are supposed to get an overview about the political and legal frame of environmental technology, whereas lawyers, economists and graduates from other studies should get acquainted with the technical basics (focus on air, water and waste as well as energy, climate and sustainable development).
