Roger Willis;DA/DASI

Roger Willis

President of the Diplomatic Academy Student Initiative. Roger was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to British parents, but raised in Leeds, United Kingdom. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, with a bachelor’s degree in History. Academic areas of interest include empire, the Reformation, and the politics of currency union.

 

Andreas Safin Fellinger;DA/DASI

Andreas Safin Fellinger

Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy Student Initiative. Born in Vienna, Andreas Safin is of Austrian and Kurdish descent. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Sciences, he worked in Public Relations for several years. He is currently assigned to the Kurdistan Regional Government-Iraq Representation in Austria. His academic areas of interest include geopolitics with an emphasis on the Middle East and financial markets.

Paul Leitner

Treasurer of the Diplomatic Academy Student Initiative; Active Team Member in the Global Advancement Programme (GAP) of the Academic Forum for Foreign Affairs (AFA). He gained his Bachelor degree in International Management with focus on finance and accounting. After three years of work experience in international audit companies he is now enrolled in the ETIA05 Programme. His special fields of interests include financial markets, renewable energy, and entrepreneurship.

Paul Leitner;DA/DASI

Frances Rose

Secretary of the Diplomatic Academy Student Initiative; Design Coordinator of Polemics magazine. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages (German) at the University of Oxford, focusing on depictions of the religious and racial "Other" in Medieval and Early Modern literature. She has interned for the Financial Times and IUCN and taught English in West Africa, and is now pursuing ethnic conflict resolution, concepts of political identity and the role of languages in nation-building on the MAIS programme.
