The Master of Science in Environmental Technology and International Affairs (ETIA) is a Master's degree programme organised in cooperation with the TU Wien's Academy for Continuing Education. The MSc ETIA programme is aimed at university graduates from all disciplines and nationalities interested in studying environmental issues in their political, legal and technical dimensions. ETIA courses are taught at the campuses of the DA and TU Wien in the centre of Vienna, where students can feel and discover the city's wealth of tradition, history, art, music and culture.

Throughout your studies, an internationally renowned faculty of highly esteemed professors and experienced practitioners will guide you through an educational exploration of major political, economic, historical and legal issues concerning environmental and sustainable development. Participants of the programme put their enthusiasm for environmental issues into action by delving into topics such as air quality management, water and waste, resource and energy management, and climate change. Right from the start of the programme you are encouraged to individually tailor your education with elective courses in order to complement the learning process with your personal interests and preferences.

ETIA graduates are prepared for a professional career dealing with both current and future challenges of the environment and sustainable development. Graduates are benefitted with significant problem-solving skills to supplement their expertise to analyse complex environmental issues from a legal, economic, scientific and technical perspective.

"Tackling the destruction of our environment and, in particular, climate change are amongst mankind's most complex challenges. Developing solutions requires technical, political and legal knowledge in equal measure. Few people can claim that type of multi- and interdisciplinary expertise. ETIA alumni can."

"Without the ETIA master course I would have never gone into the renewable energy field, I would have never found my passion for wind energy. Thanks to this course, I decided to do an internship in wind energy. Now I work there full time right after my graduation."
