Tuition Fees and Costs of Living

In the academic year 2020-21 the tuition fee for each programme (Diploma Programme, MAIS, PhD and ETIA) is EUR 13,600, in the academic year 2021-22 the tuition fee will be EUR 13,900.

Upon admission to their chosen postgraduate programme at the DA, students are requested to transfer a non-refundable processing fee of EUR 500, which is deducted from the tuition fee later. The remaining sum of EUR 13,100 (2020-21) hasto be paid by the end of September respectively.

The costs of living (rent, food, study material and books) are estimated to be approximately EUR 6,000-7,000 per academic year.

Student Loan Garantee Facility under Erasmus +

For applicants looking for support to finance their Master Studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna:

The Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning in Austria informed that the new Erasmus+ programme will provide for a Student Loan Guarantee Facility (maximum 18.000 EUR) for Master Students. Condition: the Master programme takes place in a European Country that is neither the country of residence nor the country in which the university degree which is one of the admission requirements to the Master programmes of the DA, was obtained. The Student Loan Guarantee Facility is expected to start functioning from the beginning of the academic year 2014/2015 on. More precise information will not be available before summer 2014 as applicants interested in these loans will need to address participating national banks or student loan agencies which will act as financial intermediaries. These banks and agencies will only be selected following a call for expressions of interest that is expected to be published in spring 2014.
